Here's All You Need to Know!
Every project starts with your idea. Whether you already have a complete concept in mind or just a few colors, themes, logos, or inspiration photos, we'll work together to turn that idea into a custom design made specifically for you.
1. Submit Your Design Request
When filling out the form on the left, please include a description of the design you're looking for, along with any reference photos, logos, inspiration images, sketches, or other media that will help me understand your vision. Please also include the product the design will be going on, including the make and model, as well as your project budget and currency (USD, CAD, EUR, etc.).
Once I review your request, I'll get back to you with a design quote based on your project scope and budget. Custom goalie mask designs generally start at a minimum of $150 USD / $215 CAD, with pricing varying based on the design's complexity and requirements.
2. Designing Your Project
Once we've agreed on the project and design quote, I'll begin creating your design. You don't need to have every detail figured out before we start—that's part of the design process.
As I work, I'll send you progress images and digital renderings so you can see the design come together. We can adjust designs throughout the process based on your feedback, refining the colors, layout, graphics, and individual details until you're happy with the final result.
Your project includes up to 5 design templates optimized for wrapping, along with the necessary adjustments and final production-ready artwork.
Typical design turnaround is approximately 1–2 weeks.
3. Getting Your Mask Wrapped
I provide the graphic design and production-ready files only. Printing and installation are completed separately by a professional wrapper.
I work with experienced wrappers throughout the United States and Canada and can help connect you with an installer based on your location, budget, and timeline. If you'd prefer to keep the process local, I'm also happy to help search for a qualified wrapper in your area whenever possible.
Printing, wrapping, installation, and shipping costs are separate from my design fee and are determined by the individual installer. I'm happy to provide current options and help coordinate with your chosen wrapper once we begin your project.
You're also welcome to use your own installer or self-install the wrap. However, I strongly recommend professional installation to achieve the best possible result.
4. Using Your Own Wrapper
You're also welcome to use a local wrapper. An experienced vehicle, sign, or vinyl wrap installer may be able to complete the installation, and self-installation is also an option. However, I recommend professional installation to reduce the possibility of printing, sizing, alignment, or application issues.
If you'd prefer to have the mask wrapped locally but don't already have an installer, I'm happy to help search for a reputable wrapper in your area. While I can't guarantee an experienced installer nearby, I'll do my best to help you find someone who can take on the project.
If you choose your own wrapper, please understand that I cannot guarantee their printing or installation. Different wrappers may use different templates, printing processes, or sizing requirements, so the artwork may need resizing or adjustment.
If your installer needs changes, I'm happy to adjust the design files at no additional design charge to help get your mask wrapped successfully. Any additional printing, vinyl, materials, shipping, or installation costs are the client's responsibility.
5. Minimizing the Time Without Your Mask
I understand that being without your mask can be difficult, especially during the season. To minimize downtime, we can work on your design while your mask ships to your wrapper.
Design turnaround is typically 1–2 weeks, followed by approximately 1–2 weeks for wrapping and installation, depending on the installer. Shipping time is additional.
Coordinating the design and shipping this way can significantly reduce the amount of time your mask is away from you.
6. Digital Rendering vs. Final Product
Digital renderings are intended to give you the best possible representation of what your finished design will look like. However, goalie masks are complex three-dimensional surfaces with curves, vents, edges, hardware, and overlapping areas.
When a flat design is wrapped around the physical mask, minor differences in placement, proportions, alignment, or appearance may occur. This is a normal part of translating a digital design onto a three-dimensional surface.
I work with wrappers whenever possible to help ensure the design translates properly to the finished mask and will make reasonable file adjustments when necessary.
